  • Description:

    The feet are hips width apart and the body is in a forward bend position with the torso folded forward at the crease of the hips. The crown of the head is towards the earth. The hands and the elbows wrap around the inside of the thighs and catch the ankles in preparation for Tortoise (Kūrmāsana) pose. The gaze is down.
