Q:

How should I practice yoga with Pocket Yoga?

A:

We recommend that you place your device in front of your mat, on a stand, facing you at a 45 degree angle. Also for a better experience connect your device to external speakers or surround sound system (if available).

Q:

What are Karma Points?

A:

Karma Points are our way to encourage users to practice yoga, and reward them along the way. There is no doubt that the best reward of yoga is what it does for your mind, body, and spirit. This is only attained with regular practice. The Karma Points encourage this regularity. As you practice with Pocket Yoga you earn Karma Points, which you can then exchange to unlock new environments (or virtual locations). The environments depict your path in your yogic journey from ordinary to extraordinary!

Q:

Does the application require network connectivity to play the practices?

A:

No, network connectivity is not required. You can practice completely disconnected. You can practice anywhere!

Q:

Who are the yoga teachers behind Pocket Yoga?

A:

The yoga teachers behind Pocket Yoga are Chrystal Rae Almeida and Andres Illera.

Q:

I can hear the music but the voice audio is missing altogether. What could be happening?

A:

Please check that Voice and Music are both enabled in the Settings page. If that is not the problem try forcing the app to close and then restarting it again. See here to learn how to force an app to close.

Q:

Can I connect Pocket Yoga to my TV and see my practice in the big screen?

A:

Yes, there are two ways to connect Pocket Yoga to your TV: 1) Connect your device directly to your TV with the appropriate AV cables.
2) Connect wirelessly to your Apple TV. If you have an Apple TV you can connect your iOS device wirelessly to it. Just make sure to
enable AirPlay Mirroring before launching Pocket Yoga.
[TV connectivity is only supported on the iOS version of Pocket Yoga.]

Q:

When I connect to my Apple TV I only get audio and not video. What is going on?

A:

To have video and audio on your TV (through your Apple TV) you first need to enable AirPlay Mirroring on your device and then launch Pocket Yoga. You enable AirPlay Mirroring through Control Center. Even though it's called "Mirroring", once Pocket Yoga starts, it will use the TV as a separate screen, it will not be mirroring the screen. You will also have the option to change what is displayed on your device while the scene is rendered on your TV.
[TV connectivity is only supported on the iOS version of Pocket Yoga.]
