    From Extended Child's (Utthita Balāsana), the knees are open wide and the big toes are touching with most of the weight of the body on the heels of the feet. The forehead rests softly onto the earth. The arms extend to the front with the fingers spread wide. The gaze is down and inward.

  • Benefits:

    Gently stretches the hips, thighs, and ankles. Calms the brain and helps relieve stress and fatigue. Relieves back and neck pain when done with head and torso supported.
